Eclipse Marketplace continues to be the place to discover interesting and relevant Eclipse plugins. There are over 100,000 successful installs/month of Eclipse-based products via the Eclipse Marketplace client. We have a list of the most popular plugins over the last 30 days and all time. I thought it would be interesting to look at what are the most popular new plugins in the last 12 months.
Below is the list of the top 10 most popular new Eclipse plugins that did not existing on Marketplace in April 2011 but are now very popular in April 2012.

It’s good to see these plug-ins have moved to the marketplace. I’ve used at least three of them in the past, and they’re Good Software.
But you know what metric I’d really like to know about? Popular plug-ins that started at the Marketplace. Many of the plug-ins you’ve listed have had several years of success before moving to the marketplace. Let’s find out about those that were born into the Marketplace.

I find it online, sounds interesting.
I needed a way to collect my snippets of code on web, and then easily get them from my Eclipse. It’s quick, do what I need.
