Andrew Ross Joins the Eclipse Foundation

I am pleased to announce that Andrew Ross has joined the staff of the Eclipse Foundation.  Andrew will be working with myself and Ralph in the membership and ecosystem development area.

I have known Andrew for a number of years.  He is the founder of FOSSLC, an open source community that specializes in digital media including sharing video recordings of great open source presentation, videos, and demonstrations.  Andrew also worked as Director of Engineering at Ingres. His team developed Geospatial features for the Ingres Database and other software including Eclipse plug-ins.  His open source community building and Eclipse experience is going to be a great addition to the Foundation and the entire community.

Please join me in welcoming Andrew to the Eclipse Foundation.  You can find Andrew on twitter and his blog at http://bit.ly/ar_blog
