On the tech side, I wonder if they built that on top of GMF?
Jnolan:
On the biz side, yes, getting something back would be welcomed. Being a former SAP techie from a pervious life, I would appreciate that.

Internal pressure works great. But external pressure usually is more powerful :-P
Let's give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Let's hope they will step up those numbers below , but hey they joined Eclipse explicitly as a consumer, contributing in cash rather than code, afaik, until now.

From a pure number of commits done under SAPAG @ eclipse you can check:
http://dash.eclipse.org/dash/commits/web-app/summary.cgi?login=y&year=x&company=SAPAG

19 commits is not much.

On the bugzilla side: there about 200+ bugs reported, and about 300+ total where they did actively partcipate.

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&target_milestone=---&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailcc2=1&emaillongdesc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=sap.&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=

Note that those figures are skewed as they may not use their sap email fo eclipse.org stuffs.

Interesting to note their areas of interest:
Eclipse of course, then web tools, modeling and embedded devices and eRCP :-P

Great supporter at a brand level, the company hasn't contributed back to Eclipse in a meaningful way. Let's hope they bow to internal pressure and contribute code back to the community.
